I'm looking into the possibility of designing some suspension bushings with the help of Simulation Premium, but am having trouble getting some key information from my analysis.
Basically, I have an inner and outer ring that are connected via a bonded rubber. I need to be able to apply a 1° rotation normal to the bushing axis, then get the torque required to drive the 1° rotation. When I run the analysis (which has to be non-linear due to the rubber material), and try to "List Result Force", I don't have the option for "Free body force" which I'm assuming is what I would need in order to captuer the reaction moment.
I've attached a .pdf with some visuals that will show you what I'm trying to do.
Is there something I'm doing incorrectly? Is this something simulation can't do?
