I'm trying to get the forces and moments out of my equipment at the level of the plates so that I can then dimension the anchors. 
What should I be looking at: reaction forces? external forces? 
With the reaction forces (in the results list) and by selecting the relevant faces, I don't get any moments. 
By selecting the same faces in external force, I get very large moments. 
What is the difference between reaction forces and external forces? And which ones should I consider when calculating the anchors?

PS: my equipment has 4 plates to which I have applied a displacement (fixed geometry) to the lower face.
