Hello, im seeking help to make a piece, which is for a project where i try to model the movement of the stylus across th vinyle. SI simplified it to  as cylinder first but i am unable to make the cut for the groove. 

 I have 2 signals inscribed on the cylinder in two direction depth and surface but i am incapable of making a cut which allows the signal to be read by a stylus place on its surface.
