Hello,
I am looking at solidworks and have a question.
BACKGROUND:
Grad. student - architecture - focus: designing interactive environments with embedded sensor networks and mechatronics
(for instance, a partially automated & interactive operating room)
INTEREST:
Co-simulation and possibly hardware-in-the-loop testing of environmental mechatronics -- as part of this interest, i am building a sysml model using artisan studio of our interactive environment
QUESTION:
I saw on LabVIEW's website that it is integrated with solidworks such that you can use LabVIEW controls to drive a solidworks assembly. I have also seen on Dassault Systemes' website that Dymola and Catia and Abaqus can run in a co-simulation mode with a sysml model.
Is this also true of solidsworks? If so, does anyone have any experience with this? If so, did you run it through Dymola or were you able to run it directly through LabVIEW?
Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Joe
