Hello, I was reviewing Solution S-070307 regarding random vibration analysis. But the answer seems wrong to me. When having fixed boundaries with a uniform base excitation of for example 1 g. The nodes adjacent to the base show relatively really low numbers of PSD g values. This is worst in the more rigid cases. Physically the more rigid a structure be the higher the resonance frequencies should be. Also the excitation energy should completely transfer throughout the structure. The only way I can explain the small values of g near the fixed geometries is to think of the plot values as differential values. Yet, by choosing a point exactly at the fixed point I get uniform 1 g ( not a relative value!). Can anyone help me with my problem?
