I'm trying to create physical threads on a part and have setup a helix spiral as well as a profile of the thread. I've also setup a variable pitch (in which I'm just varying the diameter) so that the start and ends of the threads taper down properly. However, I can't seem to get the swept-cut to exactly follow the helix shape. It seems to always just do a constant diameter cut.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I have attached the file (SW 2012) so that it will be easier to see what is going on. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
