Hi!

I'm currently using Autodesk Inventor as my main design software, bet i'm having problems with sheet metal environment.

My question, is it posible to make a part (see attached picture) with Solidworks 2010 or Solidworks 2011 sheet metal and get

a proper flat pattern. I need this to calculate the the part I need to cut befor forming.

I attached a drawing, where on the left is the punched part and on the right the cutting material I calculated (by hand and trial cutting)

Is it possible to solve this problem with Solidworks?
