I remember posts on the subject of appearances in PV360 for SW2012, but I can't find any now.

I am wrestling with appearances in subassemblies. I have had the best luck applying appearances to faces in the part files, but not always. The correct color comes through, but PV360 will usually but not always apply maximum specular value despite the settings for that appearance. My figures appear to be wearing glossy latex pants - not the look I was after. I have stripped all appearances from all the levels except for faces at the part level, but no luck.

Any hints for me?
