I have a list of finishes we use regularly.  Is there a way to add a custom appearance when the user selects a specific appearance?

Example:

Nickel plating is selected

Solidworks knows the location of the appearance file for Nickel Plating

Solidworks applies the appearance to the part when the user selects Nickel plating.

If the user changes his/her mind to Black Anodized Aluminum then it will look for the black anodized aluminum appearance file and change the part's appearance to black anodized aluminum.

Is this possible?  Can I just add an extra column to the table of finishes w/ an appearance file path?
