I am in need of transferring, in an assembly, the profile of one part onto another. I have activated the part I wish to transfer and offset the lines/profile onto. I have started a sketch on the surface of the activated part. I have tried to use Tools/offset entities poor results. I have also tried Tools/offset on surface and other tools.

goal is to transfer/offset lines and remove material from the activated part. I am struggling and would truly appreciate any advice
