I have been designing progressive dies in solids with multiple softwares for 22 years. Unfortunatly I continue to change how I approach and control parts, locations and sizes.

Question options:

1) Top Down design-positon components by mates.

2) Bottom up design-position components and sizes by sketches on planes.

How many design by option 1 or option 2.
