Hi guys we are about to reorganize our vault and I'd like to see what yall are using, to not reinvent any wheels or go down a bad path.

Currently we're job based, with Solidworks files and other design data scattered over thousands of job folders.  Messy now that we are getting a good bit of reorders.

We're looking to move all our design data into one area of the vault, but divided on what folder structure (if any) is best.

1.  D:\\Vault\\Product design\\\\\\(~10 subfolders - Solidworks, autocad, math, specification, etc)

2.  D:\\Vault\\Product design\\\\\\   --no subfolders, all 50~1000 files in single folder--

3.  D:\\Vault\\Product design\\\\(~10 subfolders - Solidworks, autocad, math, specification, etc)

4.  D:\\Vault\\Product design\\\\   --no subfolders, all 50~1000 files in single folder--

5. ?
