I am a mechanical engineering undergrad at New Mexico Tech. Last semester I was hired by one of the researchers to make a rough model of a liposome in solidworks. I spent a good deal of time on it. The school then decided it was time to upgrade all of the computers to Windows 7. They moved all of the students' old files to a new folder, and now when I try to open the liposome model I get two errors. The first is that it is unable to send the command to the program. The second is that it can not open it because it is from a future version. I am able to open some of my older models still, but quite a few give me the same errors. Is it more likely that this is a license/installation problem or that the files were corrupted?
