I posted about this issue in the SW for Maker section but not getting a solution there so I am posting this in the main SW forum. Hopefully that's ok.

With standard planes visible the 'Ebene Oben' (top plane) lies on the XY plane (according to the global reference in the bottom left). Something seems off though. If I create a sketch on the that plane 'rotates' and then the X- & Y-Axis point down and right respectively (as opposed to the standard right and up resp). See attached image.

This doesn't seem right. Last time I worked on SW was in 2009. Since then I've used other softwares (Creo, Catia, Alibre) and none of them do this. My Maker install is vanilla so this seems to be a default setting. I can't find anyway to change it though. Any input would be appreciated.
