Hi everyone,
I am new in the forum and hope someone can help me with my problem. I am using SolidWorks 2013 SP4 on a DELL M6500 with SSD HDD and 20GB RAM. On an assembly I created a animation and would like to save it as an AVI file. When rendering starts I see in the task manager/performance that the Computer RAM fills up more and more till its completely full and the PC locks up. I tried to record it with SolidWorks Rx but had no luck since the RAM is full. Has anyone seen this too? What am I doing wrong or is there a memory lack in SolidWorks itself? I am using the Microsoft Video 1 Compressor to create the Video. Maybe that is causing the issues too. If so - what video compressor are you using?
Any help is much appreciated!
