Problem Using "Select Bodies" in Drawing

I have run into a problem using the "Select Bodies..." option from a Drawing View.   In my case, there were two solid bodies associated with the particular configuration, but I only wanted to show one of them in the drawing.  So I selected the body of interest by using the "Select Bodies" option...so-far-so good.  However, the side effect was that I also lost the surface bodies which I also wanted.  No problem says I, just go back into the Select Bodies and add the Surface Bodies to the list...except that one cannot select any surface bodies.  And then, perhaps must annoyingly, it doesn't appear that there is anyway to clear this option.  That is, once selected you cannot revert to the non-selected bodies state.  If you clear all of the bodies listed in the Scope box, you get an error message "Rebuild Errors...Please select one or more bodies".  The only way to reset this is to change that drawing to another configuration and then change back to the original configuration.  It is unclear what one would do in the case of a part with a single configuration.

Any confirmation of this would be appreciated.
