Hi,
We're having some problems with inserting small pieces into bigpipeline, like couplings that you should weld onto the pipeline inorder to be able to connect a small pressure safety valve to it, orfor instance a pressure sensort.
how can you penetrate a pipe directly with a standard coupling part(for instance: 1/2" socket weld halve coupling 3000lbs into a 14"Sch. 30 carbon steel pipe)?
Untill now we only have gotten close to a solution by inserting acoupling that has 2 connecting points and 1 route point andpenetrate the big pipe with a small piece of pipe that comes out ofthe coupling. However, what we really want to do is penetrate thepipe directly with the coupling, like it's done on the "realworld".
Can we do this with routing elements, or do we have to make anassembly with parts that are not related to routing (which I hopenot).
Can anybody help me with some advice?
Thanks in advance!SolidworksRouting
