I've been an Inventor user for four years, and am now switching to SW. One thing I can't figure out is how I can create different position representations in my assemblies. For instance, if I have a sequence of events on my machine, I want to show each of those positions of indexers, air cylinders, and other rotating and linear motion. Ideally each sub assembly has it's own positions driven by mates, but once I put it into a larger assembly, I would still be able to control the individuals. In Inventor, I start with Master Position, then I can create a new position and go change the position of any of my air cylinders etc. Once I click back to the Master, all positions return how they are saved in the master, but once I click my new position, all motions will happen how I want them.
Sorry, I'm sort of rambling...
Any help?
