I am trying to define a radially varying pressure load (linearly varying with radius) that acts on an annuluar plate. A polar coordinate system would be ideal for this scenario but there doesnt seem to be a way to define one. Does anyone know if its possible or know of an alternative way of defining the load in terms of the conventional cartesian coordinate system ?
