Hi all,
I posted this in another topic but it's getting buried so creatinga new topic.
It seems that there is some interest in how to model pipes withslopes. Even though SW routing does not provide any direct supportfor this there is a great deal that can be done today.
I have written a brief document describing how slope can bemodeled, there are a few issues but depending on your industry, requirements and the level of documentation you require this may behelpful to you.
Don't expect a fancy document (or 100% complete), this is justsomething I wrote during odd moments.
I'd appreciate any feedback you can give, any better ideas, what weneed to do to make this work better for you, anthing that doesn'twork. I have tested this out on 2009_sp04 - there may bedifferences on earlier versions.
The document is in the post below as the attachment in this postdoesn't appear to work.
Please let me know what you think.
Best regards
