Solidworks 2025 

Let me give you ALL the enhancements that were deemed worthy to be mentioned in the "What's new 2025" document that dealt with piping/tubing.

Enhancing Pipe and Tube Modifications
When you edit a route assembly containing pipes and tubes, the SOLIDWORKS Routing
software modifies existing components instead of creating new virtual components

Yep, that's it. One single sentence. 

This while Solidworks Electrical gets 10 pages all to itself and a further 6 pages under the heading Routing.

This while that during the decade that I was really active on the forum (back when the forum was a forum that was a proper forum) there were hardly any posts about routing/electrical compared to the posts in the piping/tubing sub section. Which should mean that either there weren't many issues with Routing-electrical or there were far less users for that product compared to those of us that use Routing-piping/tubing.

Having ONE item concerning Piping/tubing is actually an improvement.

What's new 2022, ZERO items concerning Piping/tubing, all items solely Electrical.

What's new 2021, ZERO items concerning Piping/tubing, all items solely Electrical.

What's new 2020, ONE item concerning Piping/tubing, all others items solely Electrical.

The one item being :

Piping drawings

You can specify the drawing template and the sheet format for pipe drawings with the Pipe Drawing PropertyManager.

Or in other words, the one thing that absolutely no sane person uses because the pipe drawing template is useless seeing that it can't display dimensions in a proper way that wouldn't cause mistakes or confusion.

Are you kidding me? Year after year after year there are plenty of advancements, improvements, additional functionalities for Routing Electrical. Where as for piping and tubing they can't even fix issues properly with the "routing properties template" which has been broken since at least 2009 and the few times it was fixed it broke again within six months or less And yes, I already tested it and it's still broken/again broken in 2025 SP2.

When ? When will the powers that be actually stop threaten piping/tubing in a manner that even a Lady Tremaine would find a bit much?
