photoview camera glitch

I am trying to use photoview/solidworks to render some examples for my calculus class on solids of revolution, specifically the "shell" and "washer" methods (though that doesn't really matter).  The problem I'm having is that whenever I try to render the animation, the camera, which is supposed to smoothly move from one position to the next, "jumps" instead.  When outputting the solidworks screen, it works fine, only once I render in photoview is there a problem.  This has occurred on almost every render I've tried to do in solidworks with a moving camera, not just this one, and I haven't found anyone else with this problem online.

I've attached two videos, as well as the assembly that created them.  The "screen" one shows what it should do, but the "photoview" video is what happens instead.

System is (I know it's a little on the weak end) is a laptop with a core 2 duo, SSD with windows 7 and solidworks installed, files are on a mechanical HDD, 4GB ram, ati radeon mobility 4500/5100.

The only things I can think of is that sometimes the solidworks window itself will freeze for most of the frame (not when rendering or motion study, just modeling) and only a small portion of the screen will update as the model moves/changed.  This usually only lasts a couple of seconds.  The "use software openGL" option is also grayed out, but is unchecked.

thanks for your help.
