Phantom Hole using Hole Wizard, 2D, w/ circular patterning

We do a lot of flanges here, and I've run into an interesting issue w/ the Hole Wizard that I'd like to resolve as either something I'm doing, or just a software bug.

I begin w/ a simple extruded boss disk, in this case 0.5" thick X 5" dia:

I then select front view, Hole Wizard Feature, specify a counerbored hole, through all, and then select the front face to locate one hole on the front face of the disk.  The radius is specified and a single vertical relation is made w/ the origin:

I then use the circular patterning feature to create multiple instances of the hole about the desired BCD:

Upon selecting the green check to exit the circular pattern property manager, the preview shows the desired holes, plus one at the center:

When I then select the green check mark to exit the Hole Wizard Feature Manager, this central hole is gone:

My question is whether this phantom hole appears because of my actions, or if this is just the behavior of the software?  Do others experience the same behavior?

Thanks in advance
