Hi everyone,

I’m facing performance issues while working with 2D drawings in SolidWorks 2020. Even with moderately sized assemblies, the drawing environment becomes very slow and unresponsive. It also takes a long time to save files.

Unfortunately, my technical support team hasn't been able to identify the root cause. Their only suggestion is to upgrade to a newer version of SolidWorks, but they can't guarantee that upgrading will resolve the issue.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? If so, were you able to fix them without upgrading, or did upgrading actually help? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
