I just got a new computer that should be faster than my old one and also upgrading from SW2017 to SW2018.
I ran the SW benchmark test on my old computer with SW2017 SP5.0 and on my new computer with SW2017 SP5.0 and SW2018 SP3.0. Below are the results and computer information:

Very Disappointing Results especially in the Simulation that I use a lot.
I am sure some of it is SW settings but the benchmark should use most of the same settings.
I know that they added some new settings in SW2018.
Is there a list of optimized settings for SW2018 and Windows 10?
I had some optimized settings for SW and Windows 7 that BOXX published in 2012.
At this point I am wishing I had my old computer running SW2017 back L
I also went in and manual change the files to the current version of SolidWorks. I still got the same results.
I do have another Simulation benchmark and the new computer ran it a couple seconds faster than the old computer and no change on the new computer with SW2017 vs SW2018.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Any ideas on why the simulation would be slower on the same machine?
Have a great day!
