This is a often ask question but maybe there is something new now

- We are using SW 2017 SP3 for now and we will switch to 2018.

- We are working with imported files from CREO and SW files.

- There are assy up to 20k + parts (subassy/parts).

- There are parts that have wrong geometry and we replace or repair them now, but there are not that many.

- Parts in the assy are not fix , they undefiniet but we will change that.

- We are using SW PDM.

- We build our new assy only with main plane mates.

Problems that we got for now are :

- Performance real slow when there are assy over 5k parts.

- Section cut does not work or it needs half a day to be done.

Has someone experience with something like that, i would appreciate any advice.

We got from SolidLine that we need to repair all our parts and that can i understand but we got told to make our parts easy ( not to draw a profile(we are using allu profiles with all kind of appearance) and to drawa simple square. Something like that is not a option.
