For quite some time I've been experiencing lock ups that I *think* must be related to PDM. I have not quite been able to create a workflow that will guarantee the lock up but I'm getting close. What I'm seeing may or may not be related.

1) Windows explorer locks up regularly. For no apparent reason, even if I'm not clicked on a file, just locks up. It only appears to lock up that particular window not the entire executable as I can fire up another window and it works.

2) opening files on the PDM from the PDM/Explorer will lock up Solidworks on occasion. What I've noticed most often is if I'm working on a bunch of files and assemblies and then try to open a higher level assy from the PDM/Explorer it just puts SW into a continual spinny cursor and never opens. If I close SW and restart it I can click on the same file in the same window and it opens.

I've read all the "PDM crash" threads I could find and maybe a few might apply but none of them seemed to describe the same symptoms. Any advice on best way to debug this issue would be appreciated.
