We're migrating our existing SolidWorks fastener library to PDM.

When creating a new SLDPRT through PDM, the fastener details entered during creation determine the file name and custom properties, and a new catalog/part number is assigned to each file.

Our requirement is that each SLDPRT contains only one configuration, always named Default.

The problem is that some of our existing fastener files contain multiple configurations with different names, and their custom properties are not currently listed in the file properties.

I tried creating a new SLDPRT through PDM and then inserting the old part into it, but this caused problems with the existing mates when the part was replaced in assemblies.

What is the recommended way to migrate these existing multi-configuration fasteners into individual PDM files while keeping the correct geometry and avoiding mate problems in existing assemblies?
