Hello,
I recognize that my Solidworks simulation is quite hefty, however, I was hoping I could receive some feedback from more experienced users when making a judgement call.
As you can see in this image, after 12 min, the convergence graph is blank and the solving bar is empty. At this point, I'm tempted to determine that my simulation will fail; however, since I'm inexperienced, I'm also wondering whether I might be jumping the gun too quickly.
I had performed this simulation once before with preliminary dimensions and it converged within 45 min. (Admittedly, I hadn't checked the PCG graph until now, so I don't know whether it was always blank). I since then have refined details in the geometry: which consists of shifting holes a few inches and reducing the length of some members -nothing major. I then rebuilt the assembly anew with the refined components. Everything is fully defined and all contacts, supports, and loads are exactly the same, however, as I'm writing this, 26 min have passed and the above image is still true.
