PCB profile drawings and Solidworks

I have to generate a drawing showing the locations of key components, the board shape, holes, cutouts and keepout areas on the PCB. We do not have circuit works. I will be sending the information about the PCB profile using the drawing and a DXF.

How do you recommend showing keepout areas and height restriction areas? I have been creating them as sketches in my pcb part and then hiding and showing them in the correct view. I have also had to copy some of them to drawing sketches to put hatching into. Is this really the best way?

When showing the details of both the top and bottom sides of the PCB, it is prefered by the PCB designer that the view be a top view for both the top and bottom sides of the board (because that is the way they see the board on their screen- they look through the board to the bottom). How do you do this? I have been creating the view of the bottom side of the PCB by using wireframe for my view display and erasing the components on the top side of the board. Is there an easier way to do this?

Thanks,

Carrie
