Im trying to pattern a smart component and i want the features if the smart component to pattern with the component

i the only thing thats patterning is the smart component itself

ex. i have a pipe going through a piece of sheet metal and i have the pipe as a smart component which cuts the piece of sheet metal and im patterning the pipe 50 times and i dont want to manually input the cut feature on every pipe i want it to do it automatically.
