We have been using Solid Edge (Edge), and that is where my example comes from but as you can see we can't pattern around the entire roll. I have been allowed to try and make this part in Solid Works (Works) and I am looking for guidance on the best method to do this. What I did in Edge was draw a single base of the pattern (image example). I then tilted the pattern around 19 Deg and made an extrusion, I then patterned the extrusion to produce 1/13 of the roll coverage. I took the edges of my patterned extrusion to make a sketch, I then wrapped that sketch onto the roll surface, I finally did a Normal Cutout on the roll Surface to create 1/13 of my pattern. This has made a part that I can't pattern to create the rest of the roll so I am left with only partial coverage.

I have tried in Works to create a single sketch with all the parts using the pattern sketch but this becomes quite large and the sketch is no longer easy to edit, It has been a while since I have worked in Works so any Ideas would be helpful.
