I'm trying to linear pattern a single weldment so that its length is incremented by X amount along a single direction. Pattern instances to vary is greyed out because I assume it only works with features, but you can only pattern weldments using bodies. Is there a way to accomplish my goal using weldments?

The picture is the assembly I'm trying to apply this to. Everything except for the top section is a pattern.
