For a particular model I am working on the only workable mate that I have found is a path mate.  I get a warning that I should use a constraint option other than 'free'.  The model works fine, and since it is the only mate option that does work I wonder why this message is given?

Obviously I can check "Don't show again', but I would rather hear from someone more expert in Motion than myself give an opinion.
