Solidworks Premium SP4

Anybody have their exploded view just the way they want it, then try to add explode lines and then somehow all the explode steps go haywire moving some of the parts back to their original location?  This has started happening on multiple assemblies.  I have been making exploded views for years but have never had so much trouble now.
