Hello, I have four parts lining next to each other on the same plane. They are arranged like: ABCD. From the assembly, I opened each individual part and applied the same reflection plane, texture and color. However, in the assembly, A and D appear to be of different texture and color as those of B and C. How come? BTW, do I actually have to go to each of the four part files and apply the same reflection plane, texture and color to make them appear to look the same? If different parts have different reflection planes, will the reflection plane chosen in the assembly automatically force the reflection plane of all parts to be the same as the one chosen in the assembly?
Another strange thing is that I applied gold appearance to a plate. It is lining on a plane like an plate lining on a desk. As I rotate the plane horizontally, sometimes gold appears to be black. Also, sometimes the top side of the plate appears to be black while the bottom side of the plate appears to be gold.
Can anybody please let me know what is wrong here?
