I'm working on mold splits for this part and it pulls in fine from a step file (no errors).  I go to make the parting line and it leaves and open surface and errors out and won't let me go any further.  I have tried to fill the surface and thicken it, but this also leaves and error (surface will not thicken).  Any ideas?
