A regular feature I need to create is a blind hole where part of that hole is offset from a surface (a "blind cut with partial surface offset" feature would be nice :-D )
I've attached a jpg of a simple example. In the example I'd like to do a blind hole, to say half way down the square without cutting into the side of the circular hole.
I've made up several work-arounds for myself but was wondering if anyone knows of any super simple common methods employed to do these cuts, that I have probably overlooked? Perhaps there's a tool hidden away in the mold tools section somewhere.
I will typically either perform all the required cuts I need and then rebuild the solid part of the model. Or create a surface to cut down to.
Cheers for any assistance.
