Hi all,

We number all our parts using a simple database and i now havenumbers 20000 to 25797 in use.

Say now if i use configurations to create a part with 3 sizes. Inow have a part file with 3 parts inside.

How can i give the file a number?

The part file cannot be numbered correctly because it is secretlycarrying two others.

In the real world what is the point to configurations?

I must be missing something?
