Hi,

I have got a C-Ring(Split Ring) that mates over another part. The C-Ring is split and when assembled, it fits over a larger O.D. (i.e. in the assembled configuration, the I.D. of the C-Ring should be slightly larger than the nominal). I want to create two configurations for the C-Ring, Default that would drive the drawing and Assembled that would be shown in the Assembly Layout. Any ideas? Would the deform feature be the way to go? The way I have done it in the past was to created the Default conf. with the nominal dimensions, then create a new conf., suppress all Default features and then re-model the part based on the assembled configuration.
