During the check in process PDM checks if the file on yourlocal system is newer, same, or older than the file that is in thevault.
The problem we are having is that when we have a large assembly wemay open a part, check a sketch or something and end up saving thefile but not actually change anything. PDMworks thinks we did andwants us to check in the file.
This is extremely annoying when we are checking in an assembly witha ton of parts that SW thinks we changed but in reality we didn't.How do you handle this situation? Are we doing something wrong withmanaging our vault that we need to change?
Any ideas?
Also when myself and another user try to check in the sameassembly, when the dialog box opens, none of the files are selectedfor me, but for him, all of the newer files are selected...there isno right-click option available for either of us. What is causingthis difference?
Thanks in advance for your time.SolidworksWorkgroup Pdm
