I am curious to know how others handle this.

When a drawing is submitted for approval through EPDM I have my workflow set up so the drawing will not pass through to the "Approved" state until all of the required people have approved it thus populating all of the signature fields on the data card. I need the associated parts and or assemblies to also follow the drawings through the workflow as they are also rev controlled.

My dilemma is this....In order for the parts to follow the drawings through the workflow, whoever is approving the drawings also have to manually select the part files as well in the approval window. This gets forgotten more often than not as most people are just focusing on approving drawings (habit)

Is there a way to have the parts automatically approved along with the drawings?

How is everyone else doing this?
