Out of curiosity, has 2015 resolved the interaction of cavities (and possibly other references) with pack and go?  I updated from 2011 to 2014 and expected this to have been fixed.

It gets annoying when you make a pack and go of a project to test a derivative (don't want to irreparably break the original), then when you attempt to edit a part with a cavity that cavity definition still references the original assembly instead of the pack and go version (so it opens the original assembly and tries to update the original to use the rest of the pack and go files because they have the same name...).
