I'm attempting to use a fancy font to do a cut in another extrusion.

I started off by creating the text in sketch, then Dissolve Sketch Text to get what looks to be usable closed shapes.  But, given this cursive-like font, some sections will overlap.

It seems there should be a straightforward way to say "convert overlapping shapes to a superset outline" but I can't seem to find it.

I know I could go in and manually trim out segments to do the job, but that's painful and doesn't lend itself to later tweaks.

Any suggestions?
