Hi all,
I'm running the Beta 2 on Windows10 (yeah it works fine) because I'm one of the guys upgrading everything at the earliest possible conveniences. It's a lifetime rule and I'm 57.
I've found out:
1. The whole GUI (Fonts, Sizes, Colors) is not ok for long hours of 3D work (a thread already running. Reactions are perfectly negative.)
2. The font size, icon-size and text size (especially on property manager), the spacing between lines in property manager - all too big, too wide. It follows the Windows Font size selection but this does not work in 3D Design. There is too many information. It needs smaller "surrounding" elements.
3. There has to be an option to adjust that size. Or it is reduced from the very beginning. Somewhere in setup or in properties or adaptation. Wherever.
4. Even on big displays the property manager folds up into 1 third of the display width. This is annoying when working. A no go.
5. More Colors on the icons are not just pretty, it's a necessity on 3D:
5.1. When I saw a yellow icon I knew where it belongs to.
5.2. The orange Icons have been planes or whatever is connected with surface construction a.s.o.
5.3. Ok. The speed is enormous now. But this is simply not working. And I'm working a lot on grafics software that uses less color in icons. But there are maybe 10 % of the number of
icons in Photoshop than in SolidWorks.
