Ordinate dimensions adding instances

In SW 2010 sp4 in a drawing. I have manually added ordinate dimensions and when I go back and look at the view, there are 2 or 3 dimensions laying over each other for some but not all of the dimensions. These are features that were created with the hole wizard, so there are several of the same holes in-line. SW seems to be automatically adding the ordinate to more than one instance of the hole.

I had also been having problems with dimensions jumping around and not staying where I put them but I seemed to have calmed that one down by changing a setting in my options that was suggested by somebody here. Is there another setting that keeps SW from `helping' with the ordinate dimensions? Thanks!

I now have more information as to when this happens. It seems to happen when I see that I have missed something that I wanted to include in an ordinate dimension. I select the `add to ordinate' option and add to the ordinate. When I do-all of a sudden multiple instances pop up on other holes in the ordinate. These are not other instances of the same hole that I added but random instances of other holes. Has anybody else seen this and if so-is there a solution?
