Hi All,
I'd like to get your opinions and input on an improvement we made with the selection of small edges and faces. This option is currently enabled by default and found under "Tools-Options-Display/Selection-Enhance Small Face Selection Precision".
Try it out... Open a model with a small face or edge (or create a small radii fillet for example). In the past, you would probably zoom in or you might use the magnifying glass by quickly hitting the "G" key... Instead, zoom out to full extents and simply try to pick the face or edge.
- How does this work compared to SW2014 and earlier?
- Will you use this technique never/sometime/often/always before zooming in or magnifying?
- OK, I'll ask the question, although unrelated to this topic. How many of you use the "G" to show the magnifying glass for selection? This is not exactly discoverable. Does it help that we added this command to the newly created context toolbar shown when you RMB in empty space?
Thanks in advance for your input,
John
