I have a quick question, I have been researching this for quite some time now and cannot seem to figure out a solution. Here is my situation:

I am working with solidworks 2014 and have my own personal default templates set and configured just how I need them and they work fine, I know how to set different templates, choose the default template locations, etc. My issue is that a lot of the parts I work with come from Germany (or even just another engineer at my location) and these parts obviously have their own defaults templates applied (which do not match across all the parts I receive and definitely do not match the templates that I have/need to use) and I cannot for the life of me figure out (or even know if it is possible or not) how to force these parts/assemblies to open with my default template settings. Is there an option that I am missing somewhere? Or would this require some sort of a macro function to be created/run at the opening of each part/assembly?
