I am using SolidWorks 2018 SP 4.0. Things are going along normally. Then (every once in a while) I try and open a new file. Following the same steps as always (click on open, highlight the file, pick the open button), the process looks like it is starting, but then it just quits. One second the "open" button is visually depressed, the next second it isn't and the command has ceased to continue. Interestingly, everything I have open continues to work just fine. It just refuses to open anything that is not currently open. The only solution I have found is to close and restart SolidWorks.
It doesn't appear to be a resource issue since it matters not at all what I currently have open. This has happened on two separate computers and I seem to be the only one in my company that is experiencing this.
Please help...
