Hello,
I am currently trying to create a specific sweep feature based on an equation driven curve: the profile is a rectangle and the path is a sine wave.
There is no problem when the rectangular profile is below a certain thickness (see attached file). However, beyond a certain thickness, the sweep fails as the "path (is) passing to closely to itself" (this was expected).
To get around this, I was intending to offset the equation driven curve, and use the offset as a guide to (hopefully) generate a uniformly thick sine wave.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to offset an equation driven curve? Or, any other suggestions on how to best generate a uniformly thick sine wave (based on an equation), with a defined thickness??
Thanks!
